Is it possible to communicate more than the spirit of our people, more than the songs of our place? What if the AiR of a place defines the psyche of its people?
AIR presents songs and rhythms from the Irish traditional repertoire weaved through electro-acoustic soundscapes in a multi-media installation of soundscapes, cinematography and photography, made complete with live youth performance. AiR, inspired by the dramatic personality and natural heritage of Ireland was created on location on the Wild Atlantic Way.
AiR is produced by ARTlifeCULTURE supported by the Arts Council and the Environmental Protection Agency.
“There are such strong positive images of Irish Youth and the quality/beauty of the Irish environment. Such images and interaction positively contribute to awareness of the value of a clean and future proof environment.”
